The Story

A beautiful diamond and star sapphire flush mount ring from the Edwardian (ca1910) era! This stunning ring has a large double-cabochon star sapphire center and two diamond resting on either side. Made of 14k white gold, the ring has a fairly wide band that tapers in size towards the shank. The sapphire center has fantastic, vibrant lavender-blue color and strong six point asterism with an approximate carat weight of 17.00ct by formula. The sapphire is flanked by two tapered baguette cut diamonds, estimated to weigh a combined 0.25ctw. The ring is accompanied by GIA Sapphire Origin Report #5231421847, dated October of 2024, stating the Sapphire's origin as Ceylon (Sri Lanka), with no indication of heat treatment. This incredible sapphire ring is also marked with an 14k purity mark and a serial number that reads 4365. This spectacular piece is nice and weighty and perfect for anyone looking for a substantial sapphire!

Measurements: The ring has a finger size 7.25 but could easily be re-sized. The band measures 15.7mm at widest and 4.25mm at the shank.

Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting and all of the stones are intact and securely set.
