The Story
A fantastic engagement ring from the Edwardian (ca1910s) era! Crafted in 18k yellow gold and platinum, this ring features a central .90ct bezel-set old European cut diamond. The diamond displays J color and SI2 clarity. The diamond is surrounded by alternating vertical rows of bead-set diamonds and rubies. Overall, the smaller rose cut diamonds have an approximate total carat weight of .25ctw, and the French cut rubies .60ctw. The remainder of the band is smooth and simple. A magnificent antique ring, this piece would make a colorful engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 6.75 but could be easily resized.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear there is no apparent damage to the gold or platinum settings. All of the stones are secure and intact.
