An elegant and colorful lavalier pendant by jeweler, Krementz & Co., from the Art Nouveau (ca1900s) era! Crafted in 14k yellow gold, this piece begins with a complimentary bail, which is encrusted with bead-set pearls. The large, petal-shaped component of the lavalier features a central row of alternating pearls and prong-set sapphires. The sapphires, which have an approximate total carat weight of .15ctw, display a breathtaking cornflower blue hue. The petal-shaped component is also decorated with additional, bead-set pearls. All of the pearls display a lovely rose-hued luster. The bottom of the lavalier features a single, dangling dogtooth pearl, which displays a milky-white luster. The inside of the bail features a "14K" purity mark and the Krementz & Co. signature. A dainty piece, this pendant would make a gorgeous addition to any antique jewelry collection!
Measurements: The pendant has a total length of 1 3/4"(including the bail) and measures 1/2" at its widest point.
Condition: The pendant is in excellent condition. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting. All of the petals and sapphire are intact ands securely set, and the bail is in working order.
