The Story
An absolutely exquisite bangle bracelet from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! The front half of this gold-filled bangle features intricate engravings, which include blooming floral and swirling-motifs, and a scalloped-pattern. The engravings are centered by a monogram, which reads: "A.M.D". The back half of the bangle is smooth and simple. The side of the piece features a discreet button, which when pressed allows the bangle to open with the assistance of a safety bar. A magnificent piece, this bangle would look lovely worn alone or paired with other gold-toned bracelets!
Measurements: The inside of the bracelet (where a wrist would rest) measures 2 1/2" wide and 2 1/4" tall. The surface of the bracelet measures 5/8" wide.
Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. There is no damage to the gold-filled bangle, and the safety bar is intact and in working order.
