A wonderful sapphire and diamond bypass ring from the Edwardian (ca1910s) era! Crafted in platinum, this ring features 2 stones, which meet to form a darling "Moi et Toi" design. The first stone is a .50ct, prong-set sapphire. The round cut sapphire displays a luscious deep blue hue, which wonderfully complements the platinum mounting. The other stone is a .60ct, prong-set old mine cut diamond. The diamond displays H/I color and SI1 clarity. The gallery of the ring features lovely filigree-detailing, which carries onto the shoulders of the ring. The shoulders also feature wheat-motif engravings, and the remainder of the band is smooth and simple. A gorgeous and colorful piece, this ring would make a one-of-a-kind addition to any Edwardian-era jewelry collection!
Measurements: The ring is currently a size 6, but could easily be resized. The band has a width of 1.53mm.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting, and both stones are intact and securely set.
